地震に関して言えば絶対的な大きさを表すと云えるマグニチュードより、地域地域での震度の方が大きな意味を持ちます。マグニチュードは小さくとも被害甚大な地震も多いことを考えると、ハリケーンと呼ばれようがカテゴリ数が１であろうがトロピカル・ストームと呼ばれようが、風水害が予想されるなら地震における「震度」同様の考えが導入されるべきでしょうね；
