この親日国に対する明らかな非礼に対し、トルコのユース (=若者)・スポーツ相 Suat KILIÇ さんは Twitter アカウント で次の様にツイートしていらっしゃいます;

・ Minister of Youth and Sports @GSB_SuatKilic: They do not comply with the spirit of the Values of the Olympic Movement.
・ @GSB_SuatKilic: İstanbul is also bidding for 2020. However, we have not produced any negative statements against the other bidding cities ++
・ @GSB_SuatKilic: And we will not do so. We love the Japanese people. We respect their beliefs and their culture.
