第６７回国連総会： キューバ
『西側』 の長年に渡る、度重なるプロパガンダの犠牲となっていることでは恐らく世界一のキューバの発信。国連決議を無視し続ける "King od the Rogue States" による経済制裁のせいも当然あって、カリブの小国の経済は楽な訳が無い。また 『西側』 同様、国内も問題だらけでしょう。『西側』 の誇る 『歯止めの無い自由』 も 『権力に逆らわない限り保証された自由』 も 『強者の論理による民主主義』 も享受出来ず、おいしいジャンクフードも食べられないとするなら、国民は確かに不幸かも知れません。実際にはどこでも無い物ねだりをしているだけですが。
一方国内は別として、世界の中での位置については； この国が （アメリカ以上に） テロを輸出していると言われて久しい？ ですが、私の知る限りこの国の重要な輸出は医療援助・医師の筈。実際、震災に見舞われたハイチにロクでもない国連軍が持ち込んだコレラのまん延を止めたのはキューバであり、これは広く認知された事実です。また、現在アフリカで医療・教育・農業・インフラ整備等に従事するキューバ人は９月時点で５千人を超えるそうです （下掲記事参照）。しかし他国に実際に迷惑をかけている事実は無い筈。（フィデルがキライ、アカがキライなんてのは関係無い）
以下、国連総会での演説を紹介。なおどうでもよいことですが、演説を行ったブルーノ・ロドリゲス外相は、チャベスもマラドーナもそうですが、毎年丸っこくなっている様な。ラテンですね；

キューバは （も） 国連改革の必要性について繰り返し主張していますが、無視し続けられています。また演説の最後ではアメリカをかなり激しく非難。この点は幾つかの南米諸国もバックアップしておりました、以下抜粋；
- −−−On July 31 last, the US State Department included Cuba again in a unilateral and arbitrary list of States that sponsor international terrorism.
The true purpose pursued with the inclusion of Cuba in that spurious list is to fabricate pretexts to increase the persecution of Cuba's financial transactions and justify the blockade policy which has caused invaluable human and economic damages that are worth one trillion dollars, estimated according to the present value of gold.
The United States do not have the slightest moral or political authority to judge Cuba.
It is known that the US government has resorted to state terrorism as a weapon of its policy against Cuba, which has caused the death of 3 478 and maimed 2 099 of our compatriots, and at the same time it harbors tens of terrorists, some of whom are living in freedom in that country, while maintaining a long-lasting and inhumane incarceration and a cruel and arbitrary retention of the five Cuban anti-terrorists in its territory.
Cuba strongly rejects the use of such a sensitive issue like terrorism to pursue political goals and calls for the United States to stop lying and put an end to this shameful exercise which is an outrage against the Cuban people and the international community and a discredit to the cause of the struggle against terrorism.
We reiterate to the United States, on the days prior to its elections, our irrevocable vocation for peace and our interest to move on to the normalization of relations through dialogue, on an equal footing and with absolute respect for our independence.
With absolute certainty, our people, come what may, "with all and for the wellbeing of all", will continue advancing down the path they have already chosen until we "conquer all justice". （演説終わり、引用終わり）
公然とではないにしても、内心拍手していた国は多かった筈。
