世界気象機関 - Wikipedia のハイチ復興支援の一環として、ハイチ気象センターのＷｅｂページを立ち上げたことが報道されました；

さすがにハイチ気象に特化した詳しいサイトではありますが、仏語の不自由な私は、以前紹介の National Hurricane Center でカリブ海全体をＷａｔｃｈしています。

  この１００年で見ると、９月１０日を境に数は減少。なお同ページに記載の９月の通常のハリケーンの動きは、 "ーーー Hurricanes can originate in different locations and travel much different paths from the average. Nonetheless, having a sense of the general pattern can give you a better picture of the average hurricane season for your area." との断わり付きですが；
  
  
  

ハリケーン直撃が無ければよいのですが。なお復興について最新の報道は；

◆Only 2% of quake-hit Haiti rubble cleared

−−−only about 2 percent of the 33 million cubic yards of debris left by the quake have been cleared, the Associated Press reported. （中略）　Much of the debris is contaminated with human remains and other materials. 　（中略）　many people are illegally dumping debris into Haiti's Grise River which flows into the capital's bay, polluting the waters and having the potential to cause flooding, The Times reported in June.

ＮＧＯ同士の競合、交通インフラ未整備により重機・ダンプが持ち込めない、倒壊建物の所有者の調査が難航、など片付けが進まない理由が幾つか挙げられています。利権に群がるＮＧＯはどうにも手に負えないものの、それ以外なら、経験豊富な日本の自衛隊や大震災を経験した自治体なら随分役に立てると思うのですが。復興どころか、災害拡大のリスクが増大している様にしか見えません−−−
