国際社会において名誉ある地位を占めてなどいない日本は、従ってどうでもよいことですが、 パレスチナ国 （英語では State of Palestine） を 国家として承認しておらず 、 パレスチナ解放機構、PLO を母体とする パレスチナ自治政府、PA と 外交関係を結んでいます；
■ United Nations General Assembly resolution 67/19

- Decides to accord to Palestine non-member observer State status in the United Nations, without prejudice to the acquired rights, privileges and role of the Palestine Liberation Organization in the United Nations as the representative of the Palestinian people, in accordance with the relevant resolutions and practice; A/RES/67/19 Point 2
- the designation “Palestine” should be used in place of the designation “Palestine Liberation Organization” in the United Nations system, without prejudice to the observer status and functions of the Palestine Liberation Organization within the United Nations system, A/RES/67/19 Recital 14
- Taking into consideration that the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, in accordance with a decision by the Palestine National Council, is entrusted with the powers and responsibilities of the Provisional Government of the State of Palestine, A/RES/67/19 Recital 15
- Expresses the urgent need for the resumption and acceleration of negotiations within the Middle East peace process based on the relevant United Nations resolutions, the terms of reference of the Madrid Conference, including the principle of land for peace, the Arab Peace Initiative5 and the Quartet road map to a permanent two-State solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict9 for the achievement of a just, lasting and comprehensive peace settlement between the Palestinian and Israeli sides that resolves all outstanding core issues, namely the Palestine refugees, Jerusalem, settlements, borders, security and water; A/RES/67/19 Point 5

−−− 攻撃で踏み荒らされたガザが少しの落ち着きを取り戻したのとは対照的に西岸でイスラエル軍が暴れています。連日の拉致（逮捕）が続き、全体数が今はわかりません。また、抗議の投石をした者たちへ実弾が発射され、2人が射殺されました。
このようなネチネチとした攻撃は今後も続くでしょう。そして、ガザからロケット弾を発射させるように仕向ける。そして、停戦破棄としたい。このようなイスラエルの思惑が感じられます。だから、注視が必要です。
「停戦」合意によって、支持率が下がったネタニヤフの内閣では、バラク国防相が政治から引退すると発表。もう自分の政治生命はないと踏んだのでしょうか。
「停戦」に反対するデモまで起きたイスラエルでは、この後退をとりつくろうというのか、イスラエルの高官と米国の高官がそろって「今回の作戦は来たるべきイランとの衝突の予行演習だった」とニューヨークタイムズに語っています。
「予行演習」でガザの人々、それも多くの子どもたちを殺したと発言できてしまうことにおぞましさを感じます。殺戮に取り憑かれた国のようです。
しかし、今回の攻撃でわかったように、ガザの人々は命以外失うものがない。皆殺しでもしないかぎり、イスラエルは「勝つ」ことはできないのです。
